Meet Our Therapist

Casey Ebert

Casey Ebert found her passion for massage while attending Washburn University and managing a salon and spa in Topeka. A stress filled day and a brief chair massage was the humble beginnings of Manhattan Healthworks.  She experience instant relief and knew she wanted to learn how to make someone feel the way she felt that day.

Casey attended American Academy of Massage Therapy in Manhattan, Kansas. Casey’s previous experience includes local salon management and services provided through a local chiropractic practice.

Casey is especially passionate about Pre-Natal and deep tissue massages. Casey regularly completes continuing education classes focusing on Pre-Natal and Deep Tissue Massages.

Casey is insured through Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Chelsey McIntyre

If you listen to your body when it whispers, you won't have to hear it scream.

Chelsey studied massage therapy at Bellus Academy in Manhattan, Kansas. Her specialties include Swedish  massage, prenatal, and deep tissue massage.

Chelsey gained a year of massage experience at a local salon before joining us at Manhattan Healthworks.

Chelsey is insured through AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association).

Tyler Sharpless

Tyler launched his massage therapy journey in 2015 while working as an ACSM certified
personal trainer in Dallas, Texas. Two of his personal training clients had suffered traumatic brain injuries and required massage in addition to guided exercise as part of their treatment program.

Determined to better serve these two clients, and others, Tyler enrolled as a student at Ke Kino Massage Academy and earned his state license upon graduation in 2018.

While attending school and working as a licensed therapist, Tyler developed a strong passion for deep tissue, sports, and myofascial release massage techniques.

Tyler’s goal as a wellness professional is to consistently deliver individualized, high quality treatment to restore function, alleviate
pain, and facilitate rapid recovery for all of his clients.

Jenni Holding

Caring for yourself is not an act of indulgence; it's an act of survival.

Jenni found her passion for massage after completing a military tour in Afghanistan. She was looking for a greater way to improve the lives and well-being of the community. Through massage, she is able to ease sore muscles and promote relaxation through stress relief techniques and essential oils.

Deep tissue therapy came natural to her as a way to decrease pain and restore freedom of movement. She has an extensive knowledge base in aroma therapy, as well as body treatments through her training as an esthetician.

Jenni attended Bellus Academy in Manhattan, Kansas for massage therapy, esthetics and makeup artistry.

Mersadez Brown

Self care is not selfish; it’s important!

Mersadez is an advocate for self care & self love to the highest degree. How can you give your best when you’re not feeling your best?

Mersadez was encouraged and inspired to attend and graduate from Bellus Academy’s Massage Therapy program by her close friends; Kristen, Brad and their son Aiden (5). Aiden is physically disabled and requires botox treatments in his legs; it was recommended by his team of doctors that massage therapy would be extremely beneficial. What a happy coincidence that Mersadez was attending a massage therapy program. 

The connection, passion and devotion for massage therapy was aflame! Mersadez loves and specializes in Swedish and reflexology. In addition to Massage Therapy, Mersadez is currently attending Bellus to receive her education in Esthetics, skin care.
